Double Deuce Racing, based in SW Oswego, is hosting a Pulled Pork Dinner on Saturday, April 4th, from 12 noon until 5:00PM. Lighthouse Lanes will be the site for the event. A menu of pulled pork sandwiches, two sides and dessert will be available for a donation of $8.00 per person. In addition to the meal there will be entertainment by Millennium Music, door prizes and drawings.
Double Deuce Racing owners Bob Hoefer and Bill and Linda Samuels are preparing for their third full season of racing at Oswego Speedway. The plan is to field two cars again this year. Pat Lavery will be behind the wheel of the #2 car. After a second place finish in Oswego Speedway Championship points for the 2008 season, including several top five finishes, the goal remains to get Pat his first feature win at Oswego. Bobby Magner returns for the 2009 season as the pilot of the #22. Bobby got his first Oswego feature win on July 5th. He went on to win two additional features, including the “Novelis Mr. Supermodified” $10,000 to win title, making him the driver winning the most features for the 2008 season. He looks to improve on his 5th place Championship Points finish.
