July 13th update

For those of you who check our site for updates on a regular basis, sorry for the gap over the last few weeks. Sometimes there is just nothing that comes to mind! This past weekend certainly was one of mixed emotions. Pat had a great run in the MSA “$10,000. to win race”.A top 10 finish in the event for Pat in the #2 was very satisfying. In Pat’s own words, “that was the most fun I’ve EVER had racing.” Not qualifying the 22 was a bit disappointing, but not the worst thing that has ever happened. With 36 cars attempting to qualify through time trials, it’s a “tough row to hoe”, and a poor time trial puts one in a tricky situation right off the bat. Bentley’s last lap pass in the consi kept the 22 on the sidelines for the feature. I may need to re-think the “snickerdoodles” that go to Bentley when he’s in town. :) Anyway, another week is ahead of us. The usual maintenance has to be done and we’ll keep trying to figure out what is going to make the 22 a happy race car. We are ever grateful to Pat and Bobby for their efforts and dedication to the team. They are both so talented and sometimes the results fall short of their expectations of themselves due to “car issues.” Our crew is the BEST and we thank them for their dedication! Maintaining 2 cars each week is no easy task, but we manage to have some fun along the way. Thanks to everyone and we’ll see you at the races!
